Testimonial

Linda Geer, a good friend, illustrator and graphic designer, is also a kick-ass knitter. She creates beautiful, fun and interesting scarves which she sells at art fairs, holiday bazaars, and a couple little boutique shops. These are not your ordinary scarves; Linda creates her own patterns, uses exquisite, unusually textured yarns and adds in beads and findings. As a result, they aren’t cheap (though, knowing how time consuming they are, I’m sure she still only makes 50¢ an hour).

Linda was selling herself short. The hangtags and displays she was in the habit of using didn’t communicate the fact that each piece is an original, wearable piece of art. We encouraged Linda to think about her work differently, to consider a new image and booth setup. She agreed.

We then designed a logo and new look that we think reflects her work, and helped her update her displays. We were all very pleased with the outcome visually. Perhaps more importantly, though, Linda says that her rebranding “made me feel more professional about my artwork and increased my business.”
